Description
Join other families as we parade through downtown Bluffton bearing our own blazing Olympic torch and then gather back at the library for an astonishing magic show presented by Fort Wayne favorite, Jim Barron. Bring your own family banner, flag, or decorated strollers or make items at the library from 5-6 pm that day (supplies provided). The first torch carrier and the last will be drawn from early sign-ups for Summer Reading. All other torchbearers will be selected from a drawing that evening.

Sue Delagrange, MS, RD, from Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana will talk about how to manage diabetes for individuals with or without cancer diagnosis. This presentation will focus on how the food you eat affects your blood sugar levels and ways to manage the disease through meal planning. Recipes and samples provided. Registration appreciated.

  • Read 500 pages & earn a book. Plus be eligible to come to the party. Additional prizes may be won at the party for those in attendance.
  • Read 2,000 pages & get $5 in chamber bucks.
  • Read 5,000 pages & get another $5 in chamber bucks.
  • Read 8,000 pages, get final $5 in chamber bucks & be entered in a drawing for an iPad mini! The drawing for iPad mini will be August 1st @ 9 am.
  • Top reader prizes will be rewarded to our top 5 Teen readers.
  • ALL PRIZES MUST BE PICKED UP BY AUGUST 5th
